Philippine "Catholic" Church Asked Forgiveness

Antonio Tobias Asked Joseph Estrada
To Forgive The Catholic Church

On April 20, 2006, Antonio Tobias, the Vatican II "Bishop" of Novaliches, asked former Philippine President Joseph Ejercito Estrada to forgive the Roman Catholic Church. At the "New Mass" held for deposed Philippine President Joseph Estrada's 69th birthday, Antonio Tobias apologized for the "Catholic Church's" role in his ouster five years ago but told him to move on and relinquish ideas of returning to power.

Antonio Tobias asked forgiveness from the former president for the role played by "bishops and priests" in the EDSA II people power revolt in January 2001 that led to his ouster.

Tobias urged Estrada to forgive the Church, move forward and put his wealth to better use. Antonio Tobias explained that he asked for forgiveness on behalf of the Catholic Church as the uprising was spearheaded by Church leaders.

Antonio Tobias, Vatican II "Bishop" of Novaliches, April 20, 2006:
"I hope you can forgive the Catholic Church for what happened to you... In the end, I hope you have come to terms with us bishops and priests. Your personal life is a lesson to everyone. You earned the distinction of bowing out from power to prevent bloodshed. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, walk and move on, Mr. President, for the sake of the country."

Antonio Tobias pretends to be one of the princes of the Catholic Church. We all know that the Catholic Church is the One True Church of God guided by the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.

If we accept the words of Antonio Tobias who claims to be a Bishop of the One True Church of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, then we have to believe that the One True Church of God is apologizing to Mr. Joseph Estrada.

This is one of the highest forms of stupidity I have heard in my life!!!

Antonio Tobias is part of the Vatican II Church. The Holy Roman Catholic Church has nothing to do with Essa II. It was the invalid "bishops" and invalid "priests" of Vatican II. Antonio Tobias should ask forgiveness on behalf of the Vatican II Church and not the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church is the true Church of God. The Catholic Church is guided by the Holy Ghost founded by God. The Vatican II Church is guided by evil spirits founded by men.

Antonio Tobias should ask forgiveness from God for his errors. It is obvious that the Vatican II Sect is flawed indeed, and in that sense Antonio Tobias is right, nevertheless he and all his hearers identify this sect with the Roman Catholic Church, so the immense damage done to souls is just the same.

The Catholic Church is spotless because she is the Bride of Christ, whose mission is to lead souls to Heaven ( Apocalypse 21:27), who alone possesses all the means of sanctification, the true doctrine, and salutary discipline, and who alone has been given by God power over the treasury of grace (Matthew 16:18; 18:18) and the right and authority to preach the Gospel (John 20:21; Lk 10:16). This is the constant and infallible teaching of the Church about herself.

The Catholic Church can not be charged for any human faults. The Church tells that the sinfulness of individual Church members cannot be laid to her charge because the Church is holy.

The following quotes from various Catholic sources demonstrate the holiness of the Catholic Church, that, despite the sinfulness of many of her members, she herself is without any flaws.

Pope Pius XII, Allocution to the Students of the Gregorianum, October 17, 1953:
"...the Church, although human faults can be found in her, is always the Church of Christ, and, as such, true and infallible in preserving and transmitting the sacred deposit of faith, that is, of truth and heavenly grace; and she is holy, in fact, the very same 'Church of God, which He purchased with his blood' [Acts 20:28]. God is always great and wonderful in his works, but He is especially to be considered so where his greatest charity is shown forth, where his most abundant redemption in our regard is made perfect, namely in the Catholic Church."

Pope Pius XII, Encyclical Mystici Corporis, paragraph 66:
"Certainly the loving Mother is spotless in the Sacraments, by which she gives birth to and nourishes her children; in the faith which she has always preserved inviolate; in her sacred laws imposed on all; in the evangelical counsels which she recommends; in those heavenly gifts and extraordinary graces through which, with inexhaustible fecundity, she generates hosts of martyrs, virgins and confessors. But it cannot be laid to her charge if some members fall, weak or wounded."

Pope St. Pius X, Encyclical Editae Saepe, paragraph 8:
"In fact, only a miracle of that divine power could preserve the Church, the Mystical Body of Christ, from blemish in the holiness of Her doctrine, law, and end in the midst of the flood of corruption and lapses of her members."

Ephesians 5:25-27:
"Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and delivered himself up for it: That he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the laver of water in the word of life: That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy, and without blemish."

(Fr. Sylvester Berry, The Church of Christ: An Apologetic and Dogmatic Treatise, 1927:
"Theologically, it is certain that the Church must be holy in every respect."

(Pope Pius IX, September 15, 1876:
"...although one of the Church's marks is holiness because she is holy in her Founder, holy in her teaching, holy in the sanctity of a great many of her members, nonetheless she has also within her bosom many members who are not holy, who afflict and persecute and misjudge her."

Pope Leo XIII, Decretal Hortus Conclusus, December 15, 1881:
"She is a garden enclosed, my sister, my spouse, a garden enclosed, a fountain sealed' [Cant 4:12]. These words of Holy Scripture are applied, according to the Fathers, to the Catholic Church, the immaculate spouse of Christ...."

Pope Pius XI, Encyclical Divini Illius Magistri, paragraph 101):
"Now all this array of priceless educational treasures which We have barely touched upon, is so truly a property of the Church as to form her very substance, since she is the mystical body of Christ, the immaculate spouse of Christ, and consequently a most admirable mother and an incomparable and perfect teacher."

Pope St. Pius X, Encyclical Editae Saepe # 6:
"You know very well, Venerable Brethren, that even when surrounded by tribulation the Church still enjoys some consolation from God. “Christ also loved the Church, and delivered himself up for her, that he might sanctify her...in order that he might present to himself the Church in all her glory, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she might be holy and without blemish” [Eph. 5:25ff.]. When vice runs wild, when persecution hangs heavy, when error is so cunning that it threatens her destruction by snatching many children from her bosom (and plunges them into the whirlpool of sin and impiety) — then, more than ever, the Church is strengthened from above. Whether the wicked will it or not, God makes even error aid in the triumph of Truth whose guardian and defender is the Church. He puts corruption in the service of sanctity, whose mother and nurse is the Church. Out of persecution He brings a more wondrous “freedom from our enemies.” For these reasons, when worldly men think they see the Church buffeted and almost capsized in the raging storm, then she really comes forth fairer, stronger, purer, and brighter with the luster of distinguished virtues."

Fr. Antonio Tobias was ordained validly as a Catholic priest on December 21, 1965. The Rite for the Priestly Ordination was changed by the Vatican II Church. The New Rite of Holy Orders (bishops, priests, deacons) was approved and imposed by Paul VI on June 18, 1968.

Fr. Antonio Tobias received the proper Catholic ordination that makes him a valid Catholic priest.
Fr. Antonio Tobias is a valid priest but not a valid Bishop He is not the Catholic Bishop of Novalices. He is the Vatican II Bishop of Novaliches. He is not one of the princes of the Roman Catholic Church. He is one of the heretics of the Vatican II Church. Even if he is a validly ordained priest, it doesn't mean that he is Catholic. Fr. Antonio Tobias is one of the heretics of the Vatican II Church that celebrates the "Indult Mass" created by Benedict XVI.

The "Indult Mass" of Benedict XVI is not the Traditional Latin Mass. Fr. Antonio Tobias can offer a valid Mass because he is a valid priest. But he can not offer a Pontifical High Mass because he is not a Bishop. Pontifical Mass is a Mass offered by a Catholic Bishop.

Fr. Antonio Tobias was invalidly consecrated on January 25, 1983. He received the new rite of episcopal consecration by Paul VI that makes him an invalid bishop. He is a valid "bishop" of the Vatican II Church. The New Rite of Paul VI is an entirely new rite, which rejects what the Church does. The New Rite of Ordination of Paul VI cannot be considered valid, but must be considered invalid.

The fact that Fr. Antonio Tobias is not a Catholic Bishop, that means that he can neither consecrate a Catholic Bishop nor ordain a Catholic priest. Only a Catholic bishop can ordain catholic priests.

This means that any Confessions made of grave sins to “priests” ordained in the New Rite by Antonio Tobias must be made again to a validly ordained priest who was ordained in the Traditional Rite of Ordination by a bishop consecrated in the Traditional Rite of Episcopal Consecration. Obviously, no Catholic may lawfully approach “priests” ordained in the New Rite of Paul VI for either “Communion” or confession or any other sacrament requiring a valid priesthood under pain of grave sin, since they are not valid priests.

Sacraments may only be received when matter and form are certainly valid. These facts mean that all indult Masses celebrated by “priests” ordained in the New Rite of Paul VI (1968 Rite) are invalid and cannot be attended. The “Masses” offered by such “priests” would be invalid. Those priests who were “ordained” in this New Rite of Paul VI who are open to the truth must be re-ordained by a validly consecrated bishop in the Traditional Rite. This also necessarily means that the Traditional Latin Mass, is of course invalid if celebrated by any “priest” ordained in the New Rite of Ordination.

Please pray for the return of Fr. Antonio Tobias to the One True Church of Christ.
Saint Anthony de Padua, pray for us.
