Good Friday: The Bloody and the Unbloody Sacrifice

The Holy Sacrifice

St. John 19:17-22
"And bearing his own cross, he went forth to that place which is called Calvary, but in Hebrew Golgotha. Where they crucified him, and with him two others, one on each side, and Jesus in the midst. And Pilate wrote a title also, and he put it upon the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. This title therefore many of the Jews did read: because the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, in Greek, and in Latin."

Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion and death of Christ. Jesus was nailed to the cross at nine in the morning. Jesus had been hanging on the cross from approximately 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Even though the death of Christ is a terrible thing to have to happen, it is good news to us. The death of Christ has saved us. The Sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross is renewed in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The The Traditional Latin Mass is the unbloody re-enactment of the sacrifice which Christ offered to God on Calvary.

Malachias 1:11
"For from the rising of the sun even to the going down, my name is great among the Gentiles, and in every place there is sacrifice, and there is offered to My name a clean oblation: for My name is great among the Gentiles, saith the Lord of hosts."

Catechism of Pope St. Pius X:
“The Holy Mass is the Sacrifice of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ offered on our altars under the appearances of bread and wine, in commemoration of the Sacrifice of the Cross.”

Luke 22:19
"Do this for a commemoration of me."

Christ instituted the Mass at the Last Supper on Holy Thursday.  Jesus said that the Last Supper was to be perpetuated as the Mass. The Mass, is the actual sacrifice that took place on Calvary. The Mass re-presents or re-enacts the sacrifice of Calvary. His sacrificial death is actually made present again, at each Mass.  Jesus offered Himself to His Apostles sacramentally on Holy Thursday and, on Good Friday, offered Himself on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins. When we offer the Traditional Latin Mass, we commemorate and re-present what Jesus did in His Last Supper and in His sacrifice on the cross.

St. Paul, 1 Corinthians 11:26
"As often as you shall eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord."

The New "Mass" of the Vatican II Church is not the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The New "Mass" is a protestant service created by the enemies of the Church. The devil hates the Mass because he knows that the Mass is the renewal of Christ's death on the Cross. Jesus defeated Satan on the cross. At the Vatican II Council, Satan did his best to destroy the Mass. The enemies of God created the blasphemous New "Mass" which is commonly used in parishes today. People are being deceived into thinking that the New "Mass" is the true Catholic Mass. NO! The New "Mass" is not a Catholic Mass but a Protestant service. There is no grace from it.

The sacrifice of the Mass is the re-creation of the death of Jesus on Calvary. The Mass is not an entertainment event. At Mass we enter into the sacrifice of calvary, would anyone be clapping being present at the crucifixion?  Would anyone be dancing being present at the crucifixion? I think not. If you want to clap go watch a movie.
