Women Are Not Allowed To Serve In The Mass

Altar Girls,Women Lectors, Women Psalmists And Female Eucharistic Ministers
Are Forbidden To Serve In The Holy Mass

St. Paul, 1 Corinthians 14:33-35 (Douay-Rheims Bible)
"For God is not the God of dissension, but of peace: as also I teach in all the churches of the saints. Let women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted them to speak, but to be subject, as also the law saith. But if they would learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is a shame for a woman to speak in the church."

As Roman Catholics, we should obey the writings of St. Paul which are commandments from God.

St. Paul, 1 Timothy 1:1 (Douay-Rheims Bible)
"Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope..."

St. Paul, 1 Corinthians 14:37 (Douay-Rheims Bible)
"If any seem to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him know the things that I write to you, that they are the commandments of the Lord."

It is strictly forbidden to have women serving within the sacred altar, that is, they are prohibited from entering the altar area behind the altar rails during the liturgy.

The Roman Catholic Church explicitly condemned females serving the priest at the altar.

Pope Benedict XIV, Allatae Sunt July 26, 1755:
"Pope Gelasius in his ninth letter (chap. 26) to the bishops of Lucania condemned the evil practice which had been introduced of women serving the priest at the celebration of Mass. Since this abuse had spread to the Greeks, Innocent IV strictly forbade it in his letter to the bishop of Tusculum: "Women should not dare to serve at the altar; they should be altogether refused this ministry." We too have forbidden this practice in the same words in Our oft-repeated constitution Etsi Pastoralis, sect. 6, no. 21"

Celebration of Holy Mass with a sister/nun as mass server is permitted in a convent chapel, but there are restrictions. The priest and nun/sister commit a grave sin if she approaches the altar.

1917 Code of Canon Law, Canon 813 § 2:
"A female person may not minister. An exception is permitted only when no male person is available and if a just cause is present. The female person may not, however, approach the altar under any circumstances, and may only respond from afar."

Lay Women and even nuns/sisters are not allowed to distribute Holy Communion. They are not the extraordinary ministers of holy communion.

1917 Code of Canon Law, Canon 845:

"1.. The ordinary minister of holy communion is only the priest.”
"2. The extraordinary minister of holy communion is the deacon, with permission of the local bishop or the parish priest, only to be granted for a serious reason, which may legitimately be presumed in a case of emergency.”

The Roman Catholic Church is the only Church founded by Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Catholic Church can not change the teachings of God because God doesn't change.

Therefore, the Vatican II Church cannot be the true Church of Jesus Christ. The Vatican II Church has departed from the teachings of the Apostles.

The Novus Ordo Church of Vatican II teaches that women may read in the Mass and can distribute the Eucharist. The Vatican II Sect is proven to be the cult of changes. In 1970, Vatican II "Pope" Paul VI   taught that women may not serve at the altar. And in 1980, Vatican II "Pope" John Paul II reaffirmed that women cannot be altar servers. But, as I have said, the Vatican II Church is the cult of changes because in 1994, Vatican II "Pope" John Paul II changed his mind by allowing altar girls.

Pope Paul VI, Liturgicae Instaurationes  September 5, 1970:
"# 7. In conformity with norms traditional in the Church, women (single, married, religious), whether in churches, homes, convents, schools, or institutions for women, are barred from serving the priest at the altarWomen are allowed to:  proclaim the readings, except the gospel. They are to make sure that, with the help of modern sound equipment, they can be comfortably heard by all. The conferences of bishops are to give specific directions on the place best suited for women to read the word of God in the liturgical assembly."

Pope John Paul II, Inaestimabile Donum, April 17, 1980:
"# 18. ...Women are not, however, permitted to act as altar servers."

John Paul II, Congregation for Divine Worship, March 15, 1994:
"# 3. Women may also serve at the altar...It shall also be made clear that the norm is already being widely applied, by the fact that women frequently serve as lectors in the Liturgy and can also be called upon to distribute Holy Communion as Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist and to carry out other functions..."

What's the problem with altar girls, female lectors and women psalmists? They are good in their intention. They want to serve the Lord. What's the problem? The problem is that it is against God's commandments. If you truly love God and if you really want to serve Him, you should obey His precepts. You cannot question God because He is God and we are all nothing but sinners. Women are not discriminated in the Catholic Church. Women are important because they are life givers by giving birth. In fact, Our Lord chose a woman, the Blessed Virgin Mary, to carry Him in her womb for nine months. Jesus Christ was with His women disciples. We have several saints who are women. But they are called by God to serve Him in many different ways. Men are also called by God to serve Him in many different ways.

The Roman Catholic Churches teaches that the Holy Mass is the highest and the most perfect form of prayer.  If the Mass is the perfect form of prayer, it could not be changed or reformed.

Pope Gregory XVI, Encyclical Mirari Vos:
“The discipline sanctioned by the Church must never be rejected or be branded as contrary to certain principles of natural law. It must never be called crippled, or imperfect or subject to civil authority. In this discipline the administration of sacred rites, standards of morality, and the reckoning of the rights of the Church and her ministers are embraced.”

The Holy Mass is part of the Holy Traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. It is a Holy Tradition of the Church that forbids women to serve in the altar.

Second Council of Nicae, September 24, 787:
"If anyone rejects any written or unwritten Tradition of the Church, let him be anathema."

Pope St. Pius X, Encyclical Notre Charge Apostolique:
"For the true friends of the people are neither revolutionaries nor innovators, but traditionalists."

St. Paul, Galatians 4:16
"Am I then become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?"
